Vichy Mineral 89 Review

It was such a joy to find out I was selected in this campaign by Buzzstore because I had many samples from Vichy in the past and the one that really stood out for my skin is the Mineral 89 gel-booster. It has a visible effect on my skin and it has become my favorite so far. Its sister, the Mineral 89 eye contour gel is no less. But let's find out more about these products.

MINERAL 89 Gel-booster repairs the protective barrier of the skin affected by various harmful internal and external factors, such as: UV radiation, pollution, climate change, stress, smoking, unbalanced diet, etc. The skin feels so plump and hydrated afterwards, it is unreal. It is light on the skin and can be used as part of the skincare routine, as a primer or after sun exposure.

Part of the ingredients that make the skin so hydrated are:

•  89% Vichy Volcanic Water a trademark ingredient by Vichy, now with the biggest concentration;

•  Hyaluronic acid of natural origin which helps restoring the natural barrier of the skin.

It can be used for all skin types, including sensitive skin and it has no perfume or alcohol.  

The Vichy Mineral 89 eye contour gel, with repairing and fortifying effect has also improved the aspect of my eyes because lately, my eye bags were really proeminent. 

How to use:

Step 1. Put a drop of gel on your fingertips and distribute around each eye: 3 touches above and below each eye.

Step 2. Gently massage each drop into the eye area with circular gestures using two fingers to reduce the periocular pockets.

Step 3. Using your fingers, spread the gel from the inner to the outer corners to smooth the fine lines.

This formula only has 13 ingredients and 15 minerals to help with the skin barrier around the sensitive area of the eyes, hydrating the skin and smoothing fine lines. 

All in all, it was a superb experience, both for myself and my skin. You may think those products are a little more expensive, but the quality speaks for itself. The benefits of both the gel-booster and the eye contour gel are remarkable and I will keep them in my routine for a long time.
