Avon Ultra Matte and Ultra Creamy lipsticks Review

 

With the help of Buzzstore and Avon I could test and finally be able to enjoy some new lipsticks after so long. They were very differrent, one was the definition of matte lipstick while the other one was very creamy. Now let's see why they are sisters.

The shades I have are Blush for the matte one and Lava love for the creamy one. The first one has a smooth texture, very easy to apply and most important for me, I can use it while having a mask on my face. Now, whenever I go out with my girls at a coffee shop I can proudly surprise them with perfect lips.

Another thing that is worth mentioning, are the packages. They are classic, but not old if you know what I mean. Especially the one for the Ultra Matte Lipstick, it is just like the shade, a matte one, and it looks so good. On the other hand, the one for the Ultra Creamy shade has a special shiny finish, as a legit representation of the actual lipstick.

From what I'd seen on their site, there are plenty of colors to choose from. While the matte shade I have is perfect for an everyday, go to work look, the second one is perfect for a night out, whenever that could be, given the pandemic context.

The second shade I've used is Lava Love, an adorable shade of red. I'm very fond of red lipsticks and this color suits me and I can wear it comfortably. Due to the creamy texture, you can apply it super fast. That may be a flaw, because one wrong step and you have to redo it. However, after it settles, you won't have problems with it.

Both of the lipsticks have special formulas, enriched with avocado oil so your lips stay moist and perfect. And if you are indecisive and can't pick the shade, they have an adorable virtual mirror on Avon.ro, you upload or take a picture with your webcam and you can try the shades with no problem.

 

All in all, the experience was pleasant, like I said before, these are the first new lipsticks I use and I am very content with them. Yes, they are very different in styles and results, but they were fun to try and find out which suited me better.
