One day I stumbled upon a post
Vichy had on Instagram and it said that they give free kits to test. So I checked
the list of pharmacies that participated in the testing and was so glad when I saw
that were a few in my town.
In the first pharmacy I entered I
was surprised of how kind they were and had patience to explain to me what the
products are for. I think I took the first three packages and then exited and
called my mother happy that the deal was real. During my sharing of eagerness
to test the products I had explained my mother that I didn’t take the ones that
were for women dealing with menopause and wrinkles, I focused on hydrating and
boosting the skin. Of course, I heard some reproaches that she could have
tested them and my egoism was also mentioned. So I checked once again the list
of pharmacies and found one that was near to where I was drinking my cappuccino.
There, too, I was explained once again what the products are for and was glad
they weren’t suspicious of why I was interested only in anti-wrinkling
products. I mentioned they were for my mother just in case.
The coincidence makes that both pharmacies were from the same company, so shout out to Sinapis for having such nice people among them.
Each kit contained two products meant
for certain problems of the skin, a sample of foundation and a voucher for
products from some specific lines. The last one was a great sensation because I
shared them with my coworkers and they were delighted.
The ones that I tested (and my
mum) are:
·
Aqualia Thermal
·
Normaderm Phytosolution
·
Slow Age
·
Liftactiv Supreme
·
Liftactiv Collagen Specialist
·
Neovadiol Compensating Complex
The Mineral 89 Fortifying and Plumping Daily Booster
The coworker that I share the
office with bought, using the voucher, the Mineral 89 Daily Booster and I was
so happy she was happy. She told me how satisfied she’s with this product and I
have to say I am too. Out of all the products I have tested from this line,
this one was also my favorite. It feels super light and energizes the skin. Nothing
compares to a healthy, plump skin.
The Normaderm Phytosolution
Intensive Purifying gel
This is a gel not to mess with
and I’m glad to find my match. I’m fond of cleansing gels and I always have
one, but I’m also picky so they have to have a certain level. Particularly this
one, it is meant to deal with oily and sensitive skin. I like gels that make my
skin feel fresh and light and this one is exactly one of those.
The Normaderm Phytosolution
Sensitive Skin – Hypoallergenic Mineralizing Thermal Water
This Double-correction daily care
cream is meant for oily and blemish-prone skin. What I could say after testing
it, because although I have an oily skin, I don’t have acne tendencies, is that
it is very light. At first it leaves the skin with that glass shine but it gets
absorbed in a blink of an eye. The skin is left smooth that you want to touch
it all day and that’s a no no, don’t do that no matter how much you want to. This
cream and the gel also have a minty smell that is very refreshing.
The Neovadiol Compensating
Complex Densifying and Replenishing Day Care Cream
The cream is for normal to
combination skin and it seems a little denser the cream for oily skin. It is
equally just as fast to be absorbed, but it just gives the more mature vibe. My
mother and I used it and of course, you can’t pinpoint the exact effects from
samples, but you can definitely see a glimpse of them. The skin felt hydrated
and protected and that was enough.
The Liftactiv Supreme Anti-Wrinkle
and Firming Correcting Cream
My mother included this on her
skin care routine and was pleased with it. Like I said before, you can’t have miraculous
changes, her wrinkles didn’t magically disappear, but the skin felt motivated
and soft. Especially with anti-wrinkles creams, you have to be committed and
use them seriously.
The Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating
Cream
This cream is dedicated to normal
skin and also has a light formula. I’m very fond of products like this because I’m
aware of how important hydration is. And because my skin is sometimes stubborn,
light formulas are very precious for me.
Dermablend Fluid Corrective
Foundation 16 hr
I can’t help speaking about this
foundation because I feel in love with it. The shade is 25 nude and it matches me
perfectly. The coverage is medium to high which is kind of out of my comfort zone;
I usually prefer something more light. This however, made me look so good; I can’t
get enough of it. It does take a bit of extra care in terms of hydrating the
skin prior to applying, but, darling, if this is going to stay on your face for
16 hours straight, then you should make it comfortable for it. All jokes aside,
it provides nice coverage for a long time.
The purpose of kits like this is
identifying the right products for your type of skin and problems. Because I was
lucky to meet kind people in the pharmacies and give joy to others, I was able
to test these products. My favorites were the hydrating creams, the gel and the
foundation. What about you?
A.
